Increasing cold causing students absence in school

In the Udaypur area, the number of pupils attending classes has drastically decreased since the cold wave began. Due to the recent drop in temperature, students particularly those at the basic level are not attending classes on a regular basis. Dewan Rai, a teacher at Jogidaha Janata Secondary School, Triyuga-1, claims that fewer pupils are enrolled in the community and private schools in the municipalities of Triyuga, Chaudandi, and Katari. Similarly, Bhupendra Thapa, a teacher at the Peace Zone School of Triyuga-11, said that on certain days, just 25% of the students up to Grade 4 were in class.
People have been unable to move around the district for the past four days due to the cold wave. Teacher Babu Narayan Chaudhari of Janata Secondary School of Handiya, Chaudandigadhi-9, expressed a similar predicament, stating that the school attendance was being affected by the bitter cold. Not even the parents want their kids to withstand the cold at school. Public life has been negatively impacted by the fog and cold wave. Older adults and those who are ill are also susceptible to colds.
