In Nepal, tea is the main export crop stated by the Adhikari

According to Minister of Agriculture and Livestock Development Ramnath Adhikari, Nepali tea has demonstrated a significant presence in the international market. Speaking at a celebration of the 29th National Tea Day in Lalitpur on Monday, which was organised by the National Tea and Coffee Development Board, Minister Adhikari said that despite several challenges, Nepali tea has remained a major export crop. The government, workers, entrepreneurs, industrialists, cooperatives, and tea producers, he continued, had collaborated to make this possible. Nepali tea has a lot of promise, according to Minister Adhikari. He directed the Board to move forward with a strategy plan to solve the persistent marketing challenges that Nepali tea has reportedly been facing.

According to Minister Adhikari, the ministry was prepared to address policy issues and offer resources to the Board, which is in charge of the entire tea industry. In the upcoming fiscal year, he said, initiatives would be launched to boost tea investment, find new markets, connect tea with tourism, and draw in young people and female entrepreneurs. Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development’s secretary, Dr. Govinda Prasad Sharma, promised to assist in resolving the problems the tea industry faces in the coming days.
