Government pledged to advance a more comprehensive social security program

According to PM KP Sharma Oli, the administration is dedicated to a more comprehensive understanding of social security. In a greeting message on the seventh Social Security Day, PM Oli stated that the government was making every effort to manage the social security program in a methodical manner. PM Oli emphasized that there is no situation in the nation when citizens feel as though they are without guards or protection. The prime minister said that the administration placed a high priority on social fairness and dignity while it pursued prosperity. To ensure that no one is left in a state of helplessness, the government has demonstrated its commitment to its citizens. He asserts that social security is guaranteed by the constitution as a basic entitlement of all citizens.
In addition, PM Oli clarified that the government is creating a budget, programs, and action plan and implementing them in accordance with the larger idea of social security. He recounted how the government, under the leadership of CPN UML, introduced social security in 2051BS, giving elderly people, unmarried women, and those in need a monthly stipend. The idea of society security has now given rise to a welfare state with equality and social justice. According to PM Oli, the recent introduction of the contribution-based social security plan was motivated by the recognition of each person’s responsibility in social security.
