Gold nears Rs 200,000 mark in domestic market

Agency: Gold price continued their upward surge on Wednesday, climbing by Rs 300 per tola in the domestic market and nearing the historic Rs 200,000 mark.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs 199,000 per tola today, up from Rs 198,700 on Tuesday. The fine gold reached an all-time high of Rs 199,400 per tola on Bhadra 23.
In contrast, silver prices declined by Rs 15 per tola and are currently being traded at Rs 2,345, down from Rs 2,360 on Tuesday.
