Four community woodlands are damaged by the Palpa wildfire

The Sansarkot hill fire, which started close to the district’s Ribdikot rural municipalities 1 and 2, has not yet been extinguished. The District Police Office claims that the persistent storm and heavy fog made it impossible to contain the fire. Over 170 hectares, four community forests have been damaged by the fire.

Lek, Bharekhola, Madhuban, and Brindavan community forests in Deurali have all been impacted by the fire, according to the Division Forest Office. Locals, the Nepal Army, and the Armed Police Force are attempting to put out the fire.
