Flooding of the Lhende stream Nine people were safely rescued

Since the Lhende stream on the Nepal-China border flooded, nine persons were safely evacuated from Rasuwa. The Assistant CDO in Rasuwa, Drub Prasad Adhikari, stated that out of the 37 individuals who had lost contact, 15 had not yet gotten in touch with anyone and 22 were found to be safe in a shelter.

Information from the Home Minister’s secretariat stated that a helicopter was ready to rescue anyone who were stranded by the flood. However, helicopter operations in Rasuwa are being hampered by inclement weather. A NA helicopter is on standby at Trishuli, Nuwakot.
