Few locations in provinces of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki are expected to see light to moderate rain
Currently, both local and westerly winds are influencing the entire nation. The Meteorological Forecasting Division adds that the moisture-laden wind that enters the nation from the Arabian Sea also has an impact. In the hilly area, the weather will be partially to mostly cloudy, while in the other areas, it will be mostly fair. A few locations in the provinces of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki are expected to experience light to moderate rainfall, while a few locations in the country’s hilly region—such as Sudurpaschim, Karnali, and Lumbini provinces—as well as one or two locations in the remaining regions are likely to experience light to moderate precipitation accompanied by thunder and lightning.
In a similar vein, there is a chance of some areas of the country’s upper hilly and mountainous regions experiencing light rain and snowfall today. The haze that is currently pervasive across the nation will begin to gradually fade, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division. In order to prevent thunderstorms, lightning, rain, and snowfall from affecting people’s health, everyday lives, agriculture, and transportation by road and air, the Division has urged for taking the appropriate safeguards.
