Company is helping to develop the capacity of salon professionals in Nepal: Bhattacharya
Hair product brand Streax Professional organized a mega show in Kathmandu last week. This was the fifth edition of the mega show, which the company has been organizing every year. They stated that the company has been supporting the capacity building of salon professionals in Nepal. The objective of the mega show was to provide beauty professionals with information on hair cutting, coloring, and the latest trendy styles. The mega show received extensive coverage in the media.
Abhishek Bhattacharya, International Business Head of Streax, said that no discrimination of any kind has been made against Nepalis. He said that while many products imported from abroad for sale in Nepal are labeled “Sell for Nepal Only,” Streax Professional products do not have such labeling. He said that just as Streax products sold in India have prices listed in Indian Rupees, Streax products sold in Nepal have prices listed in Nepalese Rupees. He said that this was the only difference.
The company further stated that its market is growing in other Asian countries besides India. There are two types of Streax – one professional and the other normal. Professional products are available in parlors and salons. They are widely used in parlors and salons. Normal Streax products are available at nearby shops, online platforms, and general beauty parlors. Bhattacharya said that the concept of normal Streax was created with a view to those who do not go to the parlor and want to color their hair at home. He said, “We are conducting various tests. Since the climate of India and Nepal is the same, we are producing and distributing the same type of products for both countries.” The program informed that the company has 6 production plants in 6 locations in India. Bhattacharya said, “The demand for Streax is very high in Nepal and we are excited to introduce new products in Nepal.”
In the mega show, the company trained salonists on haircutting, coloring, and practicing international fashion trends in new styles. The event unveiled 6 attractive looks from Streax Professional’s Spectrum collection and launched new products such as Streax Professional Argan Secrets High Lift Shades, Hume Magic No Ammonia Hair Color, and Fungi Color. The organizers believe that this show has played a significant role in connecting the Nepali beauty industry with the latest trends.
