Chisapani-Deurali-Banidanda blacktop road picks up speed

At a rapid rate, the Chisapani-Deurali-Banidanda road is being blacktopped. Fifteen years after the track opened, blacktopping began on the road segment. The Local Infrastructure Development Office claims that the blacktopping is being carried out at a cost of Rs 10 million that the federal government has appropriated. In addition to blacktopping the road, last year saw the completion of culvert installation, gabion wall filling, rainwater drainage channel construction, and retaining wall construction. The route has made it easier for the general people to access the Waling-Huwas road. According to Ravi Panthi, an engineer with the Local Infrastructure Development Office, all of the blacktopping work will be finished this fiscal year.
