Bicycle use is encouraged by Minister Yadav to reduce air pollution

Minister for Drinking Water Pradeep Yadav urges bicycle use to reduce air pollution in dense cities and urban areas, launching a cycle rally on World Environment Day. He emphasized that using green vehicles doesn’t emit smoke since they don’t utilize fossil fuels, and that using clean and renewable energy to the fullest extent possible is necessary to create a greener future. The Minister promised to increase funding for infrastructure and policy development to support environmentally friendly modes of transportation. Additionally, he promoted bicycle use at the municipal, state, and school levels. During the event, the Minister recognized and valued the Youth Forum’s environmental conservation efforts.

However, Minister Yadav voiced his worry that the effects of climate change are causing Nepal’s snow-capped mountains to become naked and black. Pramod Kumar Chaudhary, the chairperson of the Marwardi Sewa Samiti, emphasized the advantages of riding a bicycle, saying that it would improve one’s own fitness and lessen noise and air pollution in urban areas.
