At an expense of Rs 80 million, a new bridge was constructed over Trishuli

The 1963-built truss bridge was in poor condition, therefore a replacement concrete bridge was erected for Rs 80 million. Rajan Shrestha, the mayor of Bidur Municipality, claims that because the new concrete bridge can handle large loads of vehicles, the trip for residents of Nuwakot and Dhading has been more efficient.

The government has spent Rs 80 million on an 11-meter-wide, two-lane bridge. The bridge that is constructed utilizing the “Box Coder Priestess” technology under the “Design and Build Model” is safe, robust, and has a higher load capacity, according to the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport.
The recently built bridge has been used to conduct transportation services. Eight metric tons could be carried by a single lane on the old truss bridge. This bridge can support 35 metric tons of weight.
