Article published about universities of Nepal and India

A Nepal-India University Professors’ Conference has begun in Kathmandu. The opening of the conference was done by Pradhan Vasudev Tripathi, a chief commentator of the Nepali language, with the blowing of conch and bell sounds. On this occasion, Tripathi inaugurated a comprehensive book titled ‘The Role of Universities of Nepal and India in the Development of Nepali Language and Literature,’ edited by Narendra Raj Prasai and Indira Prasai, and published by Nai Academy. Dr. Tripathi stated that presenting the high scholarly, research-oriented comprehensive book, published at the historic three-day grand conference organized by Nai from its own internal resources, was not only unforgettable and historic but likened to a combination as pleasant as fragrance in gold.

The book contains 25 articles about universities of Nepal and India. The book includes the history of teaching and research in Nepali subjects, the curricula, and updated research records, contributed by scholars engaged in the teaching and research of Nepali subjects at universities in Nepal and India. At the conference, Dr. Tribhuvan Barai expressed views about the documents of Nai Academy and universities of Nepal, and Dr. Ambika Aryal expressed views about the working papers of universities in Nepal and India.
