An increase in the Mahakali River’s water level
Four-wheeler traffic has been limited in Kanchanpur district due to the Mahakali River’s rising flood levels. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Sagar Bohara of the District Police Office in Kanchanpur, the increase in river water levels after the intense rain has made it impossible for four-wheelers to go around. According to him, once the Mahakali River’s water level hits 100,000 cusecs per second, cars are not allowed to move. According to DSP Bohara, at 8:00 am today, the water level was 109,980 cusecs per second.
