Activities related to tourism in Koshi
To commemorate the Tourism Year 2082 BS, the Koshi Province Government has stepped up its efforts to promote and grow the province’s tourism industry. Since the start of the tourist year, Koshi Province’s districts have seen a growth in tourism-related activities, which has also led to an increase in the number of visitors. The province’s government has set a goal of welcoming 1.5 million domestic and foreign visitors annually. Hoteliers and tourism entrepreneurs have expressed their excitement about the potential for increased commerce as a result of the increasing tourism-related activity in this area.
The local business community has believed that the Tourism Year will be a powerful tool for bringing the tourism industry back to its pre-Covid peak. “We are very happy,” stated Tumraj Limbu, chairman of the Hotel Association of Bhedetar. The hotel industry will be revitalized during the Tourism Year. The Koshi Province’s districts are the most popular destinations for Indian tourists. To provide better lodging for visitors, the districts in Koshi Province have also created plans for hotels and home stays.
