A resort constructed out of used drink bottles

A resort in Makwanpur, built using discarded glass bottles, has been designed by Devendra Nepal, an innovative construction method that uses glass bottles to attract tourists. Nepal built a resort using glass bottles after seeing a house in Toudaha, Kathmandu. The Chitlang Organic Village Resort, spread across 20 ropanis of land with 25 rooms, is entirely made from glass bottles, including pathways, pillars, and walls. Local produce is served to guests at the resort. He has invested about Rs. 150m in both resorts and is also the owner of Chitlang Resort Pvt. Ltd. There are about fifty employees.
The location where poet Laxmi Prasad Devkota wrote his poems, the palace constructed by Chandra Shamsher, seven springs, Ashoka Stupa constructed by Emperor Ashoka, village from the Malla era, Bhairab Temple, the Government Goat Farm, and Bhalewshwar Temple are among the attractions that tourists visiting Chitlang are shown. Concern has been raised by Nepal regarding the drop in tourism brought on by the bad state of the Ganeshman Singh Highway stretch that is unpaved for roughly 5 km along the Chandragiri-Thankot route. Poor road conditions and infrastructure hinder natural resource preservation. Chitlang, near Kathmandu, attracts tourists with scenic views, historical sites, and glass bottle resorts.
