The ‘Unko Sweater’ advance ticket sales have begun

Advance ticket bookings for Unko Sweater, a nationwide film, have begun at Nepal’s QFX and major Kathmandu Valley theatres, generating increased viewer interest. Cinema halls across India have already allocated over 300 shows for Unko Sweater, produced by Artmandu and featuring lead actors Bipin Karki, Miruna Magar, Pariksha Limbu, Alex Paras, Wilson Bikram Rai. Audiences have already taken to songs like “Phool,” “Makhamali,” and “Kafle,” which were helmed by Sujan Chapagain and Jhuma Limbu. The social media virality of the teaser has increased interest in the movie even further.

It is also the first feature film that Nabin Chauhan has directed. The narrative spans the region between Panchthar in eastern Nepal and the Indian state of West Bengal. The movie was filmed in the Indian border region of Phalelung and Panchthar in eastern Nepal. The film aims to capture social tensions, cultural diversity, and the vivid hues of Nepali society in a single story, according to filmmaker Chauhan. The censor board has given the movie a Universal Certificate. In the meantime, the movie had its big debut on Wednesday at Big Movies in Kamaladi, Kathmandu. The premiere was attended by journalists, celebrities, and film artists.
