Koshi Highway’s Bhotkhola segment is interrupted
A landslide has closed the Bhotkhola portion of Sankhuwasabha along the Koshi Highway. A landslide that happened this morning in Alphatte, Makalu Rural Municipality-3, has blocked the road, according to Ram Kumar Lamichhane, Acting Chief of the District Police Office.
Following river erosion in the Ekuwa River, which was brought on by Tuesday’s overnight rain, the landslide happened. He said that work is being done to remove the debris from the landslide in order to clear the road.
