2082 Nepal Academy of Fine Arts Festival has begun
The Nepal Academy of Fine Arts launched the Fine Arts Festival-2082 to celebrate the 16th anniversary and the Nepali new year. The NAFA’s inaugural art festival, organized by the Academy, saw significant participation from art enthusiasts, artists, students, and the general public, highlighting the importance of passing down traditional art skills. He stated that the festival would be planned even more lavishly in the upcoming years and that the program’s goal is to make the Nepali art industry more vibrant. Lalkaji Lama, the festival’s coordinator and vice chancellor, claims that the event has united many Nepali art forms that emphasize practice, creation, and commitment. He stated his opinion that the occasion would be crucial to NAFA’s growth as a center for the arts.
In order to start the promotion and growth of the art market, the festival features a variety of forms and mediums, including painting, sculpture, handicrafts, folk art, multidimensional art, and other creative art forms. In order to honor artists, promote fine arts locally, and support the nation’s cultural economy through the medium of art, the festival unites artists, critics, researchers, intellectuals, scholars, artwork, and artistic items under one roof.
