6.1 ML earthquake shakes Sindhupalchowk and the neighboring areas
The National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center verified that an earthquake of local magnitude 6.1 struck this morning, with Bhairabkunda in Sindhupalchowk district serving as the epicenter. According to the Center, the earthquake occurred at 2:51 am and shocked Kathmandu and the neighboring districts. Both the eastern and southern districts of Nepal experienced the earthquake.
